A small bench lab where we press, cure, and test block formulations: binder chemistry, natural additives, water immersion, and strength. This is where the platform's first wall core is being proven.
Modern buildings rot in about thirty years, and they fail at the joints — windows, flashing, penetrations — not in the middle of the wall. Water damage is one of the largest categories of homeowner insurance loss every year. Meanwhile the materials got more expensive while quality fell.
Early. Two research phases are complete, the block lab is running, and the next steps are laid out.

Something LLC is founded and run by Jacob Stevens in southeastern Alabama, where he also operates a small farm. The company is a single-member LLC: small, hands-on, and self-funded so far.
